Balsall Heath Park, in a densely-built inner city district, is the city’s smallest Victorian park, and one of the most heavily used. But it is lacking investment, and was wrecked by the 2005 tornado which devastated Balsall Heath. For the Friends we drew up in 2006 a plan for its redesign and renewal, based on a survey of local needs and opinion, and we are assisting the Friends in seeking funding for the implementation of the plan.
