This is a design for a new detached house on an urban plot which was previously rear gardens of adjacent houses. It has a concrete semi-basement, with a two-storey timber-framed and timber-clad superstructure standing on top, both constructions being heavily insulated. Interior spaces will possess qualities which derive from the different qualities of the construction.
